“Welcome to Holland” is a project my group and I did for my Photojournalism I class. It was inspired by our assignment to follow a a group or person running for the Boston Marathon over a period of time up until the day of the race. My team decided to follow Russell Trottier and his family. Russell was running for his son Colin, who was born with down syndrome, and raising money for the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress. His story, love, and dedication motivated us throughout the months and these memories are dedicated to him and his cause.
